1.Authentic Rural life in Rajasthan
We propose this ride only for small groups (2 to 8 people) you could get a chance to approach the real tribal daily life in Thar desert.
A camel-back trip for 2 nights/ 3 days one night with local folks in rural family-stay and another night a Nomadic camp under the stars!. Camel ride pass through remote desert villages(Dhanis) and visit crafts-men.

Itineraries:

1st day Guests are received at Jodhpur (Noon/Afternoon) and drive by jeep toward Osiyan- (known as temple town 40 miles in north-west of Jodphur). In route visiting Mandore garden and Osiyans temples are flexible options . Further a field we arrive at our family home where we have our first Rajasthani lunch. After lunch one can take a walk nearby get to know how people’s life goes and enjoy sunset. Dinner and family-stay (Traditional huts Home) Hutte traditionnelle!

2nd day Breakfast and start our camel-back Safari through the Thar. We ride during 1 and half hours before lunch (freshly prepared and served under a tree where one can have a siesta)*Guests are welcome to role chapaties or give a hand to make curry). Post-lunch ride is also 1 and half hours to get our Nomadic camp place. Dinner at camp place and overnightcamp under the stars!.
All along the Safari route one get to see desert wild life flora (such as Kejheri-Prosopis cineraria; Acacias; Kair-caper) and fauna (such as Gazzela-Gazzela 'chinkara'; Blue bull; Desert fox and wide varieties of birds with dancing peacocks...! )

3rd day A chance to see craftsmen at work. such as shoe-maker OR weavers- Break fast and take a tour of crafts-men family by Jeep is a flexible *option before depart back to Jodhpur city or to next destination- onward to Phalodi-Khichan, jaisalmer, Bikaner, Khimsar,..or Pushkar-Jaipur-Agra....

Warm clothings(Oct.-March).

Comfortable walking shoes; Water bottle.
Good hat or Rajasthani Turban!

Small tent and sleeping bags(If you have).

Trasport from Jodhpur to desert via Osian by jeep.
One person one camel.

Note:-If one want to return/onward by jeep-Please ask before hand. We do arranges car/jeep for travel onward to Jaisalmer/Bikaner/Khichan/Khimsar or back to Jodhpur and further to Ranakpur-Udaipur/Pushkar-Jaipur-Agra etc.
